I created this piece in response to the COVID 19 crisis. I wanted to highlight the strength and tenacity of our heroes on the frontlines. This piece is modeled after Norman Rockwells famous piece of Rosie the Revere. I placed a black nurse in the piece to specifically highlight how Covid 19 has disproportionately affected the black community. I hope this inspires us to find strength within and to take precaution and care for each other. Together we will beat this pandemic, together we will prevail.
