Melwen Ezenwa

AFRICA, NIGERIA

I am Melvin Ezenwa. I am visual artist and architect based in Nigeria.

This is a painting i did titled ‘Solitude’ depicting a woman wearing a mask in self isolation. I wrote something short for it.

Am i a queen or a slave,

Am i at peace or at war,

Am i looking ahead with hope or despair,

I want to make changes in my life,

I want to make changes in the world,

As i stand, I reflect in Solitude.
