Egypt the Artist
Bio
“Egypt” is an emerging artist and muralist from Los Angeles, California. Taking her passion in
art to another level, she moved to New York where she held her first solo exhibition in 2014 at
Java Studios Gallery in Brooklyn. Egypt currently resides and works out of Tampa, Florida. Her
artwork is inspired by society, culture, historical figures, street art, and life experiences. Egypt is
well known for her vibrant colors and powerful images. Today, Egypt continues to work on
numerous projects and commissions while exhibiting her artwork around the world.

Artist statement
The motivation for my artwork is the study of culture, life, growth and identity. Each piece
represents someone or something from around the world or a fragment of our ancestors who
were here long before us. Everything has a purpose and meaning. My vibrant works help amplify
a story of who we once were and who we are now
