Christina Boesel [email protected] It is by the same artist:
This lady forms part of the fountain “Konstanzer Triumphbogen” (“Triumphal Arch in Konstanz”) conceived by sculptor Peter Lenk in 1992. It is situated in the center of the
street Untere Laube in the city of Konstanz, which was by then the most important route to Switzerland, with the border only a few hundred metres away. This figure (as well as the other figures of the fountain) is a persiflage on one of the possible road users. Still revealing a lot and obviously prepared to jump into the fountain’s water any second, the sitting lady´s face is now covered in a mask due to the Corona regulations.
